Kybella
The chin is meant to be a solo act.
30 minute duration
Stubborn fat deposits, like the appearance of a double chin, can easily be removed thanks to this first-of-its-kind non-surgical fat reduction treatment.
How it works...
Kybella® is a synthetic deoxycholic acid that works to break down fatty areas in the neck. It’s directly injected into the fat. Once the tissue is dissolved, it is then removed over time through the body’s natural metabolic process. The best results are achieved through a series of injections in one-month intervals, with noticeable results appearing after two to four sessions. A consultation with our team will develop a treatment plan that suits your goals.
Why we love it…
This is an ideal treatment for patients who want to see results quickly but without going through invasive surgery. Kybella® is FDA approved and a first-of-its kind treatment. We also love it because it uses a naturally occurring enzyme that’s present in our bodies to dissolve those stubborn fatty pockets in the neck and jawline. It’s also a very simple treatment, typically requiring only an icepack application before and after the injection.
TREATABLE CONCERNS
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.
-
We recommend coming in for a consultation so one of our experts can evaluate if you have fat verses skin laxity. Kybella only treats fat (which is usually firm to the touch).
-
Yes, but your turtle neck or scarf is the best way to conceal and handle the post-treatment downtime. Clients will likely experience bruising and swelling in the submental area for up to 1 week.
-
You'll start to see results after at least 2-4 sessions. Body weight fluctuations can affect the elasticity of the skin, so we encourge you to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen throughout this process. The maximum amount of treatments a client should get is 6 treatments in 6 months.
-
We'll do our best to make it comfortable by icing the area before beginning treatment. Swelling, bruising, discomfort, numbness, and redness are among the most common post-treatment side effects.
-
No, you cannot get this treatment while pregnant or nursing.
-
The results are achieved once you've reached your desired look. As long as you maintain your body weight you should not have to come in for touch ups or additional treatments.
